VAP FOUNDER DONATES $50,000 TO NOAH’S ARC FOUNDATION.
Chicago, IL, July 29, 2014 – VAP Founder, Brian Hynes, donated $50,000 to Noah’s Arc Foundation, a non-for-profit founded by former Chicago Bulls player, Joakim Noah and certified art therapist, Cecilia Rodhe. This Chicago-based foundation prides itself in providing diverse opportunities for kids to become more aware and conscious to their ability to make a positive impact on themselves and their community.
“We believe every child has a unique passion, one that drives, excites and empowers them,” said Joakim Noah. Through Noah’s Arc, we want to help children tap into these gifts by encouraging them to discover their true selves through the powerful combination of sports and arts.”
Through the expression of art and the discipline of sports, Noah’s Arc works to develop the confidence and foster the passion that exists within every child. The goal of Noah’s Arc programs and workshops is to help children tap into their unique passions and achieve their full potential in all areas of their lives. To date, Noah’s Arc has supported over 700 inner-city youth through participation in the Sports program, and over 800 kids in the Arts program since their conception in 2016.
“Joakim and Noah’s Arc are helping kids in some of Chicago’s roughest neighborhoods, and giving kids hope. They’re making a difference,” said Hynes.
